The painting is provided without framing and is sent to the provided address and mailed inside a crushproof container typically a large diameter tube so that no part of the painting surface is touched. The painting is lightly fixed with an archival quality surface spray to protect the painting. However, all pastel paintings should be framed under glass. Your framer should know the best practice to protect the painting, however I am able to provide suggestions and advice should it be required.
